tuning a ER rs 80
 

for those of ypu with a rs 80 or simular how do you tune it fo it dose not overfill the colection cup with water?

try puting a bioball on the intake of the pump changes the way the skimmer works quite a bit, might not help but try it if you have some bioballs around

my older model used the output pipe height for adjustment. Lower the tube and the water level should go down

I think mines the same as yours then.

i have the same skimmer and i did the gatevalve mod. messing with the height of the tube does not work for me, as it seems that it needs tweaks often, and the pipe is hard to adjust.

figured it out. Works like a charm.
