update for Marine Experience

Hello all
I just wanted to give everyone an update on what is going on with Marine Experience.

Unfortunately, I will be closing down for an extended, if not permanent, time.

As some of you know, I have alot of my plate. My house fire has just doubled that and quite frankly, I am a bit overwhelmed at this point.

I am going to be completely gutting my house down to the bare studs and redoing it all. which will take several months.

My limo company is starting to get really busy and I am going back to school in the fall fulltime. I am in the process of being medically released from the army and am taking to oppurtunity to get more secondary education. I will also be buying and selling boats as usual.

I am also having huge losses in all of my tanks from the fire and the consequent move into my garage..I suspect I will end up with over 50 percent coral loss...and a few of my fish...I am going to take this as a sign and I am going to downsize I think to one big tank in my living room and one in my bedroom.

What I intend to do is set up a breeding system for clownfish and banghai cardinals at my shop. I will set a large series of tanks for individual pairs of fish and will also use the same tanks to grow out some corals. which hopefully down the road will be available to you.

I will be making order still from the states, as it is still much cheaper for me to bring in stuff that way as I will still be having large numbers of tanks. I may look at group orders as more of an option for the local reefers.

I am definitely not giving up this incredible hobby and will still take a strong interest in the local reefing scene.

As to what the future holds for Marine Experience, I will have to wait and see how everything goes. I am hearing great things about Blue World and as more stores open up in the area, hopefully prices will become more competitive.

I also want to take this time to say thanks thanks for the support.

Neal
