Actinics
 

Im wondering if anyone uses Korallen-Zucht 39W Fiji Purple as actinics on ther tank. If posible to post a picture because I am probably going to use thes as actinics on my 46 gal sps tank.

Way too white/red to be used as actinic IMO.

I use the Fiji Purple, but not as my specific actinic bulb...I suppliment with real 420nm bulbs.

thats what i was think in the first place then changed my mined. Anyone else use this combonation.
Dose it bring out florcent colors in corals?

The Giesemann Pure Actinic brings out the flouresce well ime.

Here is a picture of my tank (don't mind the hoses going up the front) when just the Fiji Purple and one painful Coralife 65w PC bulb were working.

At the time I had an ugly mod to the light so it reflected the Fiji purple bulb more to the rear of the tank than I liked. It got some great "pop" out of my corals though.
