Got copper in tank by accident

As the tittle says. WHAT SHOULD I DO!! i just did a 4 g water change and im going add 6 gallons of fresh SW. Is ther anything i could still or need to do.

sorrey not copper but rust.

last time I dropped a bit of rust in my tank, I had a peanut butter sandwich :). If you're going to lose sleep over it, add a bit of carbon. You might get a bit of algae out of it though, so a water change isn't a bad thing. Not a huge deal though...

I'm using some very expensive rust in a reactor in my tank right now. Deliberately pumping water across it, hoping it'll adsorb some phosphates.

oxidizing metal can pick up phosphates? interesting
