Tail Rought - Do I need to treat it

My Dottybacks tail fin has had a slight rip in it & white edges for a couple weeks now. Is this tail rought? if so do I need to treat it and how do I do it?

Is the "rot" getting any worse? If not, I'd leave it alone. Good feeding and good water quality should give the fish good enough health to battle the infection itself. :)

no its not getting worse, its just not getting better.

Try more frequent meaty feedings and garlic (I'm a recent garlic convert!)

If it gets worse take him out and treat hhim in QT - is anyone picking on him?

no ones picking on him, i've been feed garlic as well.
We'll see how the next week or so goes.

As long as it's not getting any worse I'd leave him indefinately...but that's just me. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I don't think he's broke yet...just showin wear! :p
