i just got 2 power heads from a buddy now are they suppose to vibrate like crazy if there brand new and how do u fix it?

try opening them up, remove the impeller and put it back in again. sometimes the propeller becomes imballanced and you get the noise.

I've found hagen powerheads get noisy after about a year for me

Try tilting it up when it is vibrating to get the air out

well it fixed itself when i was at work mow my tank is super quite thank for the suggestions ill try those next time it happens
