Catalogueing Coral

I'm faced with a desire to catalogue all my current SPS. I don't want to buy a ton of books. What do you suggest I do

Check out your local public or academic library for the books. I know that when I was at the UofA you could get a public membership and use the university's and its affiliates libraries. You can get books sent to you, and I think you get them for a month if I remember correctly. The public library was a bit of a dud on anything other then general fish books here.

As I recommended to Colin the 3 volume set of "corals of the world" by J.E.N. Veron is worth every penny and a must for a serious collector like yourself. I picked mine up on Amazon for a lot less than I thought it would be. I think it was only about $150.

$239.00 Used on amazon.ca I'll keep my eyes open

Premium Aquatics $129.95 and I do believe that they ship USPS so that the brokerage fee will be $5.

Ordered from .com for $160. Thanks Snappy for the push. I know you've recommended these books to me before and I thought they where a lot more expensive than they are.

I know your knowledge of SPS scientific names is really outstanding. Have you read the set cover to cover or use it more as a reference

Yes. I think you'll really enjoy having these books, I know I do.

Some good reading here:
Acropora ID mini-class
You might also need dissecting scope.
I hope you become resident expert, so I can send you some pictures of my corals .
I got those 3 books and they didn't help me a bit without the scope.
Good luck.
