that is one sweet set up!!
Yes I had been following that one off & on after Michika posted it here last year. It is an awesome thread so thanks for bringing it back into the limelight. It was nice to take another look and see all the updates.

The one thing that struck me was he doesn't sell or trade them he is really just doing it for himself. Thats amazing...a shame he doesn't share simply from a conservation view but wow nonetheless.
|
there is a video of it on you tube also

Steven Pro's greenhouse thread on marine depot forum is pretty cool too.
|
ya saw that thread a while back, absolutely amazing, i also often wonder if he swaps or sells the frags or just grows them out for the heck of it, either way you flip it, outstanding setup

I like the Coral tank in Portugal a lot, lots of great idea. I agree though, a bit of trading for conservation purposes would probably be good. I'm sure those he has a few friends here and there who have some of those pieces. He still hasn't posted anything about how he transfers one polyp from the mother colony to a daughter frag. I mostly continue to follow the thread to see that. The thread is up for Thread of the month and last time I checked, it was winning. |

Crap! I'm reading the thread, and now I want to start a greenhouse! Curse you Alberta climate, and lack of a realistic market! Its a very cool thread though!
