Worm identification please
I recently did some rock sitting in my as yet unoccupied 10 gallon nano. I now see a lot of reddish worms. they are at least one inch long, and one end has 3/4 inch filaments. They spend their time in the sandbed with the filaments on the sandbed surface. Does anyone have an idea what they are? My camera does not do closeups, so a picture is not a possiblility. :?: :?: :?:

Spagetti (spelling) worms. I have some in my tank.

Yes, my second reply to yet another pasta :?: . There are most likely spaghetti worms, I have had many in my sandbed over the years. They are beneficial for your sandbed, that's why we have live sandbeds. A Sixline Wrasse will help keep them in control though.

I was looking at Reeflounge where someone had posted some pictures of the same beast, and description. It was identified there as a Timerete polychaete, or "ball of yarn worm"
