Who's Got Snails

I'm in need of some snails that target rocks.
Anyone in town selling them?

Think he means eats off rock as opposed to glass. As far as I know all snails with eat off anything.

Astreas tend to go for the rocks more than others ime.

what type are you looking for?

astreas

I have astreas, and i find that with fairly rugged fiji rock, they tend to fall off and then they get picked off by my hermit crabs. R.I.P Look for something with a self righting reflex.

i was told that halloween hermit crabs are extremely aggressive. is that the case? or are they no more aggressive than scarlet or blue legged hermits? they look friggin COOL!!!

my nassirus snails are on the rocks quite often, but im not sure how much work they do. my astreas on the other hand are constantly on the rocks and glass cleaning away. one of my fighting conchs also cleans the rocks quite often.

I, in the past have peeled my turbos of the glass and placed them on the rock and they do fine. now they tend the rock more often.

This is why hermits (and all other crabs) are banned from my tank. :D
