LF 30+ Gallon Cube Tank or Tank Builder who'll make one for me! (Lower Mainland)
It's probably a long shot but, I'm looking for a neat & cleanly designed cube tank, without plastic surrounds, plastic canopies, etc.
Ideal dimensions would be 20x20x18 or 24x24x20 or thereabouts (I'd consider a non-square foot print tank if the price, design & condition is right) Tank builders - I'd prefer glass over acrylic but please feel free to quote me for both. Thanks :) VFX. . |
No one?

I bought my wife her cube tank at king ed pet centre.
$65.00 18x18x24=34 gallons |
I was at King Ed's today they can order you one for a decent price if it's a standard size it will be even cheaper and you could get the manufactor to make it frameless and eurobraced, drilled aswell.

J&L Aquatics has a tank builder as well. Email them for a quote.

Thanks for your replies.
J&L were pretty busy (Saturday afternoon crowd!) so I didn't get the best of attention from them apart from 'yes we could build a tank' but they'd have to have specs from me & a quote from the builder before they could quote me. I ended up at King Ed's & got a 20x20x20 frameless cube. Looks good, just need to test it for leaks. . |
Awesome! I was in King Ed's on Friday, and they had lots of different cubes. Couldn't find what I was looking for though, so I think I will have to get mine built.

So you made it down to Vancouver this weekend.
Are you doing the rounds? J&L, King Ed's, OA, Hidden reef etc.? . |
I am back in Kelowna now. I went to Coral Ocean, King Ed's, and J&L on Friday. Then on Saturday I went to Aquariums West, Big Al's (Richmond), Ocean Aquatics, and Hidden Reef. Sold my tank, traded corals, bought corals, bought critters, and a Jawfish (that didn't make the trip :( ).
