Cadlights-style tank in Lower Mainland?
 

Hi all,

Does anyone know where in the Vancouver area to buy a tank like the Cadlights 9G tank-only pictured below? I know they ship, but I'm sure that would cost more than I want to pay, plus I'd prefer something a little bigger (12-25G). A short, rimless acrylic tank would also be a possibility. Thanks!

Via Aqua do some nice tanks which fall into the size range you're looking for.

Not as clean & neat looking buy waaaaay way cheaper.

The Via Aqua LV-418W & Via Aqua LV-468 are on special at Hidden Reef right now ($70 for tank & light I think)

I'm tempted by the 418w which includes a 2x18w light as I used to have one a few years back which served me very well.

Go get it before I do!

Good deal! Not quite what I'm looking for though... I want something shorter, preferably with no visible plastic parts (rim, base).

Current usa makes the Solana and it is a nice looking all in one set up that looks very clean.

The Solana is nice but costs $799 for the HQI pendant version.

They have one at King Ed's but the fact that OA are finding hard to order them in makes me wonder about the customer service from Current-USA if anything was to break down.

The Solana looks very nice indeed. What I hoped to find, though, is a tank-only somewhere close to the price of the 9g cadlights tank at about US$79. I don't mind paying a little more, but can't afford a deluxe all-in-one.

Thanks for the tip jkhchris. He got it at King Ed. I've never seen a tank like that there, but I haven't asked them yet either, so it's worth a try.
