Aqua Cultured Rock from SWC

has anyone ever bought saltwater connection's aqua cultured rock? i'm interested in buying 50lbs to use as base rock, i'd like to hear opinions on it and use of cultured rock in general. the rest of the tank (another 150lbs) will likely be fiji rock with a few choice pieces of branch rock.

so whuich is better to get or is there a big difference between the
Fiji Premium live rock and the Fiji Ultra Premium live rock

Quinn 02-21-2003 07:39 AM

kgb i have a feeling the ultra premium is selected from the premium when the order comes in and is simply better looking pieces. i could be wrong though :)

so sounds like everyone is giving me the go ahead to use some cultured rock. this is good because i'm looking at close to $1000 worth of rock, in a system where dry goods hardly cost me $2000 :D but i guess you all know about that don't you.

Ultimately, you decide the course for your own tank. :D

Personally, I have no experience with the rock you mention.
