Our building was broken into last might and they buggered the door so it can't be secured.

Our shipper used the steel banding and about 800 pounds of lead. As is a fire exit, he left the tin snips in case of emergency.

OK, job's done, we can go home now... uh... hand me them snips.

Since it only has to be more secure or harder to overcome than the glass in the door, it's probably even overkill.

Next question. Why do you have 800 lbs of lead laying around? Just curious. I know a lot of guys that cast their own bullets that would be salivating at the sight of a pile like that.

Used for counter weights on tilting 10m wind towers.
