Any ideas what this is?
 

This just showed up on the side of one of my trumpet corals below the tissue.

any ideas what it is? Its brownish purple in color and as white vein like structures in it. Maybe some sort of sponge?

i can't see what your talking about in the photo

my first guess would be some kind of sponge or tunicate but I can't tell from the pic. Is it possible to get a better close up?
