wanted: some live sand to help my refugium get started (edmonton)
 

hey all,

i've been talking lots with kelly a.k.a. TheReefShoppe (who i might add is an awesome guy with a deep background knowledge of all things salt water aquarium) asking him about this Magic Mud stuff.

Apparently its a bit of an overrated product and not as essential as the guy at BIg Al's made it sound.

so anyways, i'm looking for a substitute to this.

Im' just getting my tank going. only cycled for about 2 days now.

29 gallon main tank and 10 gallon sump.

any help in making this happen with some live sand would be awesome!

If you plan to use live rock, then you shouldn't need to supplement with any live sand. :)
