yellow clown goby and milli

i have had a lime green millepora for a couple of months and it seemed pretty happy with great polyp extension. i then did some water testing and noticed my calcium had crept down to 350 ppm. i then upped it to 425, but at the same time added a yellow clown goby. this goby is hanging out in the mille all the time and now i am not getting very much extension. levels are much better so i figure it must be the goby. any thoughts on this?

I would guess that it is the Goby that is causing this. I wouldn't try to do anything about it though. That's how yellow clown gobys behave and I don't think that your milli is in any jeapordy as a result.

I've had clown gobies that liked to nip at sps polyps. I also saw some at a friend's that like to sit in his sps.

i dont notice any nipping and i sit and watch for quite a while, but it just hangs out in there. looks pretty cool other then the fact that i dont have awesome polyp extension anymore.

I have a hermit that like to get himself wedged in my birdsnest. Had to use the jaws of life once.....bonehead crab. Didnt seem to damage the coral any, except when I had to frag it to get it out!!!
