thanks miki
coming along great so far, what fish are you planning on stocking up on?
i can add much because of the mantis but right now there is a regal damseland thats about it
coming along nicely. how big is that biocube (looks like an 8gal?)? at any rate, if you want to hide your heater in the back, a visitherm stealth just fits perfectly into the first chamber. just a thought; it gives a cleaner looking display with more space for coral :).
how big is that mantis? O. scyllarus get big and will need at least 30gal when they are full grown... you might also want to consider the fact that they can break glass by the time they hit 5 inches or so. |
it is a 14 gal biocube , the mantis is about 3 inches and i have a 30gal acrylic tank for when get gets bigger, how much are the stealth heaters

http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/s...uct_ID=ht-s050 edit: you may have to remove the false floor in that chamber to allow the heater to fit. a bent coat hanger or something does the trick. lol good to know you've planned ahead. i put a peacock mantis in my 60gal a month ago *heart*. i love the way they pick up rubble to make their burrow. speaking of which, i dont see much of it in your tank? unless it's hidden in the back. it just helps the mantis out in feeling safe (having a decent home) and allows you to observe some really cool natural behaviours. |
my mantis doesn't come out alot but it lives in a hole under the toadstool inbetween two rocks
Do the polyps come out on your toadstool?
