That's cause these live pod products suck.... :P

Black Phantom 12-23-2007 10:16 PM

Come on Albert, don't hold it all in, tell us how you really feel

albert_dao 12-23-2007 10:25 PM

I would, but I'm afraid my atheistic and often overbearing slant would cause much grief on a public forum, Ha! Ha!

Regardless, I've never seen a good review of a live pod product. And yes, I've seen the product in person. Something about packaging bottles of water and throwing some debris into it just doesn't sit right with me. That's just IMO though. Take that as you will, your mileage may vary.

You can actually see live pods swimming around in the bottle though. I think if you follow the directions, they will all die. It tells you to float the bottle for a bit, then just dump the contents into your tank. The osmotic should would easily be enough to kill all the pods.

I was wondering about acclimatizing also, but then we dump in LR or cheato and pods survive.
