Skimmer reviews?
 

Hey guys,

Been using a prizm for the past 3 years and I think mine's about had it. It barely skims and it wasn't very effective to begin with. It's loud, barely skimming and needs constant adjustments. Which models do you guys have? Anyone got the remora?

If you are looking for a HOB skimmer my vote would go to the Coralife super skimmer 65. I am running it on my 55. It works great as long as it stays clean. I set it once and know it needs a cleaning when the I started getting too light of a skimmate. Though the only bad part is that sometimes it will go crazy and flood, luckily my floods werent too bad. The remora for me was not very good. It lacked the skimming power I wanted and was hard to clean. IMO it costs more than its really worth. Thats my 2 cents.

Got a modified ASM G3, but might want to look here to narrow your field.
