Simply put: Amazing Guitar Playing.
I have never been a huge acoustic fan. This guy has flipped my world upside dow. I must find his album.
Simply fantastic guitar playing. The other vids of this song vary from 5-13mins long and man oh man, he doesn't let up. Sounds like he has a bazillion fingers. Please, take a few minutes and enjoy! *edit* Forgot to add. John Butler Trio - Ocean http://youtube.com/watch?v=6VAkOhXIsI0 |
That's some mighty energetic plinkety-plunketing.
Dude needs a haircut, shave and a fingernail trimmer though. :p To me the biggest irony is that these artist-types who rebel against conformity, conform nonetheless to a set of "norms" anyhow. :) But that was some good guitar playing, I'll give credit where credit is due! |
check a few of theses out
listen past the first min http://youtube.com/watch?v=TX0eTp7SoNU&feature=related the eric clapton version is pretty amazing http://youtube.com/watch?v=5ZJ-FRJ8sQ0&feature=related this is nuts |
i've seen the one with Tommy before, it blows my mind everytime i see it. How do his fingers not explode in a shower of flames and blood. Seriously inhuman.

Maybe not QUITE as crazy as any of those guys, but has anyone ever checked out Wil? Think he's from Calgary. He's been dubbed the Jimmy Hendrix of acoustic. Oddly enough his website is www.ibreakstrings.com.
Personally my g/f and I LOVE his music, and he's pretty flippin wicked to see live. |
For all you Van Halen fans.... check out Bobby Yang playing Eddies Eruption on violin.....

That is awesome guitar playing although the film had some dubbing issues but it always amazes me how really talented people make it look so easy. I quite enjoyed that, thanks.
