|
wow that is awesome
|
I love the aquascaping on it.
|
Yes this is a fantastic tank.
It is amazing the aquascaping you can do with a tank 84x48x30 (500G) instead of my 72x18x22 (125G) 28 sqft of sandbed as apposed to 9. Oh we can only dream. Tom R |
He has a lot of open space that I can only dream of. I obviously need a new tank.
Tom apparently we were posting at the same time and thinking along the same lines. |
I like how it's open too. The way that he glued the rocks together into their inverted pyramid shapes is great too. Not a lot of rock, per se, but a well aquascaped tank :)
When you have a tank that large, you can use 30% of the rock normally used per gallon and still have lots of room for corals. Gives for great aquascaping as seen here. I can definately dream... |
Now there is a large tank idea that is unique and offers a more realistic " ocean view "
He could easily have added a arch in there and kept that natural look going ... mmmm http://www.personal.psu.edu/sbj4/aqu...c11-110807.gif *note to self* - when large tank construction is under way revisit that thread for aquascaping ideas :lol: |
