hqi Pendant

Hi,
I got hold of a 150W HQI pendant light, What I wanted to know is can I use the ballast for other types of HQI DE fixtures. This light is a round fixture and what I wanted was a rectangular fixture, could I use ballast on a rectangular fixture?

The ballast has nothing to do with the reflector. You should have no problems changing out the reflector.
