Flip Flop wake up call
I have a 6 gallon tank next to my bed. The tank only has one inhabitant a bicolour blenny. So I fall asleep last night and get waken up by the sound of something landing on my bed. Now my roommate has geckos and chameleons so I assumed it was a cricket, so I open my eyes and it the dark of the night I look to the side of my head and barely make out the silhouette of my bicolour blenny flopping around on my bed. I think to myself "What the hell" and so I quickly grab him and throw him back in his tank. Needless to say it was one of the weirdest things that has ever woken me up before.

They are amazing! mine lived ontop of the filter fiber in the back of the tank under the plastic grate....just had water trickling over him...he was missing for 2 weeks! Just turned his head & looked at me when I found him like What took you so long!

haha, yea they are funny little guys. I almost think he jumped out just to scare me while I was sleeping.
wow you must be a light sleeper haha i sometimes sleep through my house alarm going off.
Thats the wierd thing, I'm one of the deepest sleepers ever. My gf has this kitten that walks around crying all night and it never wakes me up. I have 2 alarms and my cell phone alarm going off in the morning to wake me up. Must have been because he landed like 3" from my face.
I'm glad you woke up in time to save him, lucky he landed so close to you.
lol thats crazy, my cichlids wake me up all the time when there fighting, but a fish actually landing right next to you when you're sleeping!...now that's something else!~
Hmmmm..........Imagine what could have happened if you sleep with your mouth open...LOL
I think it is slightly creepy to be woekn up by a live fish...dead fish to for that matter.
hmmm the Fish is like ..oh oh .. I found my Prince.. I better kiss him while he is like sleeping beauty.
