Hello,

Yes some high priced items for an acrylic box.
My view for a successful aquarium:
1) good protein skimming
2) calcium reactor
3) good lighting
4) quality top off water and salt mix
5) DSB and live rock

Just the basic stuff. No other gimmicks needed.

Hello,

Holy shikes. $400 and up for a 10 gallon acrylic tank. Wow. That must be some fine acrylic there.

Ya Kris how about building your own?

One more thing to add to Titus' post. A good critter package: snails, hermits, cucs, etc.

BTW, my favorite snails are the margarita snails. Very similar to the mexican turbos but eat about 4 times as much. Can also right themself if they flip over.

Duss.

If you are interested in learning more about the product, J&L has videos on the product that you can borrow. I haven't heard much about the system, but what I do know is it's FREAKIN expensive.

I would just check out the video, learn the concepts and theory behind it and if it appeals to you try to reproduce it yourself.
