Parting Premium Live Rock for Sale Edmonton 4$/lb

I am selling live rock with mushrooms and sponge on it. This is nice liverock with a lot of purple coral line on it and most of it has been in my tank for almost 2 years and have lots of life on it. I have around 90 lbs and am wanting 5$ a lb or 4$ a lb if you take it all and will throw in a rock with gsp.
Thanks
Cam

I have a mixture of liverock mostly figi and tonga if i remember because most of it was bought from Big Al's but i bought it for the color more than the location. It is Purple Coral Line with little bristle stars, gsp, and mushrooms along with the sponges of different color.Attached is a picture. No corals left.

IceTurf 09-18-2007 03:27 AM

wow thats quite purple, is that cuz of the algea growth or is it dyed that colour?

IceTurf 09-18-2007 03:29 AM

Or is Purple coral line a type of coral *whoa never heard of a purple coral line before, so sry if this sounds stupid*

Cam 09-18-2007 04:08 PM

Answer I think

I have heard coral line as described the color that spreads on rock, which is different from what most people would refer to as corals.

IceTurf 09-18-2007 04:17 PM

ahh ok, so then its plentyful in bacteria/other growth (:
Plus I've never seen cured rock as coloured as that! BTW my tank compared to yours is tiny so if I am able to buy some live rock it will be a small amount. So you got a 5 or 3 pound chunk kicken around in that huge tank of yours?

BTW, you selling any live sand?

Edmonton Eskimo 09-18-2007 07:23 PM

he's talking about coralline algae. That is the purple stuff that grows on the rocks.

IceTurf 09-18-2007 07:35 PM

yea I understand that, now.... tks, I didn't realise that purple coral line refered to algea growth.

Still no takers for the whole lot.

I have a bunch of people who have asked me to sell them pieces but i would still like to sell it as a whole at 4$ a lb, so if anyone is interested i would really like to get rid of my liverock this weekend before being forced to part it out.
Thanks
Cam
