Sea Hare odd behavior?

I'v had a Sea Hare for almost a week now, and he's been doing fine up until today, when I walked in from work and found him buried under about an inch of sand. He still has portions of his body poking through the sand. Is this normal? I'm half afraid to investigaste further... thinking he may be dead

that's how mine used to sleep. He'd get most of the way under, just a bit of his head sticking out. He was perfectly healthy the day I gave him back to the LFS.

Well how long did these "naps" last for? Because mine has been sleeping all day now and it's 5pm now......

Do you have lots of algae in your tank? I have heard they can starve pretty fast if there is not a lot of hair algae to snack on. Lots of people share them because I guess they just mow through algae. Sleeping all day sounds a bit suspicious to me, too.

nm.....
He's awake now.
And yes, there's lots of algae for him to eat.
Only 3 weeks into a new tank
