How do Clams Multiply?
 

We have a 6" Squamosa that we have had in our tank for about 2 years. There is suddenly a dime size clam, not sure what kind, attatched just at the edge of the mantle. Not sure what a tiny Squamosa would look like. This has a fairly smooth shell although you can see fine ridges. Anyone seen anything like this?
