Nasty Storm
 

I don't know if anyone else was driving on a highway late last night (around midnight) but we where heading to Edmonton from our friends house in Devon and OMG it was raining/lightning so hard I had to pull over to the side of the road a few times because I literally could not see the road in front of me!!!! Very scary, anyhow happy to say we made it back it one piece. On a side note it goes to show how nice people are here, some kind guy pulled up behind us and got out of his truck (poor guy probably got soaked) just to make sure we were ok. I felt bad telling him we were just waiting for it to let up a bit but I really appreciate it that he was nice enough to check. :biggrin:

It was so loud here, it felt like it was on top of my buidling for more then an hour. Each time the thunder sounded I could hear the glasses in my cupboard jingling. My older dog had a freak out over it.

Send some of that rain down to cowtown! We are dying of heat here :(

Had a REALLY close lightning strike. Every light in the house turned on by itself for a second or so, kind of cool really.
