July 26/07 - SUPER RARE CORAL! - UPDATED WITH PICS
Just unloaded 25 pieces of Dendrophyllia arbuscula.
Here's a sample pic for those who've never seen the coral: http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...-arbuscula.jpg *Note, not my picture, just one I jacked off the net temporarily. Colonies will have 8 - 20 polyps that must be fed individually. PM me if you're interested in getting a piece of this VERY limited coral. Albert |
Are these the same as you used to have in the nano display on the desk up front?
|
So they are like suncoral in some sense?
Any literature on their care and maintenance you could share? All I can find about them is that they have a need for medium to high flow, and a suggestion about their placement ( Sprung's Coral book, pg 143). |
Albert, please PM me with prices!
|
I'll take a PM with prices too :) I have a feeling they will be $$$$
Here's a proposition, since I'm broke with the baby right now, if anyone is looking at going in on a piece and fragging it a couple ways to save cash let me know? :) |

@ Greg
Same genus, different species. This one sports smaller polyps, but a much more unique growth form. @ Catherine Same care, arguably easier since they're usually open all day long and grab food more readily than Sun Corals. @ Drew No prob. |
Very cool to know! I loved my sun corals when I had them, but they were too annoying to feed all the time! Maybe these have the best of both worlds, awesome look, easier to care for!
Are they available in other colors, like sun coral? |
Albert,
Can you PM with the price. If these are out in the day I would lone some. My Sun corals are a pain in the #$#$ |
@ Catherine
Unfortunately, only orange, but it's a very deep orange. @ Keith No problem man. PM'd |
