Aquamedic dosing pumps?

Anyone out there own/ed an aquamedic dosing pump? They're cheap so I'm considering a dual channel setup for dosing two part mix. Heard some people had problems, but I'm wondering if anyone experienced one fail first hand and how long did it last?

I have an Aquamedic dosing pump that I use for my auto top off. The tubing inside that gets constantly squished by the wheels needs to get replaced every 2-4 months. Mine is now set on a timer as it has a tendency to stay on sometimes and caused some flooding. Other than that it works great. You are more than welcome to come see it in action.

You should look them up on RC. They're cheap...

Anyone using a different brand of parastaltic pump? I was hoping to find one with a variable rate instead of using a timer several times a day. The only place I could find was in the UK.
