Tuning a calcium reactor

A quick question, I am setting up my new calcium reactor. It is a Barr Aquatics recirculating model with 2 chambers.

I have a pH probe in the first chamber, what pH am I aiming for, I think it is around 7 or a bit less, is that correct? Right now the pH in the first chamber is 7.30 and I have been gradually increasing the bubble count once a day to adjust it.

Need to have pH low enough to dissolve the media.

Different media different pH to dissolve but I'm using ARM with effluent at pH of 6.8.

I only have a single chamber reactor but I like to aim for 6.7 eff. with ARM media.

I am using the ARM coarse media.

I am assuming that the pH inside a reactor will be a little lower than the effluent pH for a 2-chamber reactor so I should aim a little lower.

Yes, any where from 6.5 to 6.9 should be just great !!!
