Parts for a Dart pump?

One of my (still pretty new) Darts is leaking slightly between the volute and the motor.

I'm going to tear it apart and check the seal, but if I need a new seal...do you know where I should go to get one?

I e-mailed them directly and got my parts in no time

Thanks man!

Hey btw...I picked up a frag of a yellow stag at OA the other day. I think you'll recognize it when you come to see the tank!

Posts like this still make me nervous.

I'm trying to convince myself to run closed loops but...

When these pumps DO fail is it always a slow leak? My fear is the tank draining through a failed pump.

i've got the same thing that started on my snapper after only 2 months, seems like inferior seals to go that quickly. what did the charge you for new ones J?

I thought these pumps (Sequence) have 3 year warranty with the seals included. Also noticed the pumps are packaged and shipped out of the Surrey area.

Sequence will honor their warranty on seals, they have for me.

The seal never goes fast, it always starts as a little bit of salt creep, no worries. In fact it is normal to get a wee little bit of salt creep, nature of direct drive pumps.

Ya I did have one customer service person tell me that there was a charge and when I questioned it and gave them my serial number I had the new seal with in days. to tell you the truth I haven't yet replaced it. Mine began as salt creep and has since stoped. I would like to find a retail source of the bearing grease they recommend?

I'm not worried at all that the pump will leak any time in the future. But after my trip to Japan I'll get more serious on replacing
