How is the overflow working in there. It looks like both holes are return lines but I don't see a drain.

the light is a 250w sunpod. great fixtures, and i love the LEDs.
ferret-proof sump. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/gnx/DSC01197.jpg overflow. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/gnx/DSC01198.jpg return. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/gnx/DSC01199.jpg |
Did you research the LED lighting. They are very cool but only put out the same PAR as 20K MH's so that might be a little low for a prop tank. You will still get growth but at a slower rate. That said, if you aren't doing sps I guess it's a mute point.

Interesting style of overflow. I've never seen that! But then, there a lot of things I haven't seen.
Following along--looks like a nice set-up. |
more pictures of the sump!!!
and ferret proof? I've had ferrets, I've had a ferret climb INTO MY SUBWOOFER. Ferret proof seems like a complete contradiction! :P |
