just couldn't leave it alone could I

I have a beautiful blue arco I've had for about 4 years now. It survived my tank crash after my move thanks to Willow. and it is a much sought after frag. But lately it has really been a pain. The epoxy I used to fix it to the rock almost a year ago suddenly disintegrated. now this coral is nearly 11 inches tall and extends 8 -9 inches across. So with the wave action of my tank it has become impossible to fix it to a rock.
Well tonight I'm screwing around with it on my own (Tom R were are you) and the ENTIRE LEFT SIDE OF MY TANK COME CRASHING DOWN
Well I have at least 7 corals that are bigger than 12inches across so it took some great effort from my wife and I (Thanks Babe) but as the panic subsided and the swearing became in sync with the CO2 count on my CA reactor I realized that this just might be a good thing. The tank, I think, looks good. Maybe. Ya. and you know what. The frag tank is full.;)

No just the rock work on the left side came tumbleing down on top of everything below. No water left the glass box

Whew. Hope everything survives the rockslide event. Post pics tomorrow of the new aquascaping. It was gorgeous before. Can't wait to see what it looks like now.

Oh man I bet your heart went instantly to your throat:exclaim:
On the other hand you now have lots of frags............see post in lounge re: shipping and how much it is appreciated:mrgreen:

heh i have this problem too. I call it the "oh I'll just adjust this a little" syndrome. I *know* what is going to happen yet I just can't resist. I call it spending "quality time" with the tank

PS. Did you say frags?

Reefer Rob 04-28-2007 04:38 PM

Hmm... any good frags of yours I don't already have  My wife says I'm a natural for this hobby. I'm always breaking off frags.

I'll be looking for frag contributions pretty soon. Nitrate is still a bit higher than I would like for the addition of SPS...but soon...

So, set aside a few hundred for me!!
