New 15 G "L" shaped tank
Ok, so time to start upgrading the 10G Nano in the bathroom to a new and improver 15 G .
This is going to be an “L” shaped tank. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...New10Gnano.jpg As per normal I manage to putter and fart around always finding excuses as to what needs to be done first. Well I had some help with this… http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...no/Badtank.jpg When water shoots out the side of your tank it is a good indication that it needs to be replaced… NOW! First the emergence Britta Nano rescue tank. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...no/Nano911.jpg Then toss everything into a quick tamp tank. Now that has been done on with the building… |
First find some will participants to this test.
1 whole and 2 half cracked tanks to start with. (Thanks for the whole tank TomR) http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...anksbefore.jpg And the plumbing from OA (Thanks for the help Wendell) http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...o/Plumbing.jpg |
Now with the proper tools.
http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...Nano/tools.jpg I start to disassemble http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...sassembly1.jpg And more disassembly http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...sassembly2.jpg And even more disassembly http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...sassembly3.jpg Until you have completely destroyed a tank. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...semblydone.jpg Then a couple of more time and you end up with this… http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...anksaftera.jpg |
