Skimmer
A buddy of mine is selling an extra skimmer he made.
This is a high speed airation becket style skimmer which is very user friendly with a o-ring lid and a key hole lower base flange for easy cleaning. The becket head also comes apart for cleaning. The clear housing is for visual inspection on the bubble size. $250.00 OBO http://members.shaw.ca/jcross2/jcross2/skimmer.JPG If intrested e-mail him @ foehse4@shaw.ca |
Jamie,
Do you know the size of the skimmer? Also what size is the outlet, looks kind of small in the picture, unless the skimmer is huge  Lee |
Hey Lee,
It is a nice sized skimmer no doubt. I do beleive it's a 1 1/2 outlet. The riser column is 6" down to 4". But I can't remember for sure. Feel free to e-mail Karl. He will be able to answer the questions better then myself. |
Jamie,
Thanks, I will pass on the information, to Jack, he needs a skimmer not me. Are you going to be arround next weekend? Maybe Sunday? I would love to stop buy and see your tank in person and mybe get a couple of frags off you if you have any. Send me a PM back when you get a chance. Lee |

I did already put a down payment on Adam's skimmer but thanks for making a heads up for me Lee. Looks like a nice skimmer though, for a great price too.
|
Sorry all for the confusion. It is a nice skimmer, maybe I need another tank

8) What would be an appropriate sized pump for that skimmer?
|
I'd say something in the 1000 gph range with a pressure rated pump or close to double that on a non pressure rated pump.
