1 Attachment(s)
We have these green sprouts(aprox 8 of them) they are about 2" long.We would like to know what they are. Also the brown spots around it are a type of slug. That is what they look like under the microscope if anyone could identify these it would be great to.

The brown spots appear to be some sort of flat worm and for the the other thing i dont really know..!

The green sprout is a calcium based algae called Neomeris annulata, it usually appears on new live rock and doesn't normally get out of hand.

The brown spots sort of look like flatworms - not a good thing but treatable with flatworm exit - just follow the instructions. I am not sure what the green sprouts are but would guess some kind of algea.
