Prehistoric shark caught on video
 

This shark is the wildest looking thing I've ever seen, never heard of it and definately wouldn't want to see one on a night dive.

It looks like it's about 500 years old. Odd for sure.

It is a Frill shark, only lives in very deep water.

Seen this a couple of months back.

They caught it and it died a few hours later.

Very cool shark! Its sad that it died. Makes me wonder if they had just left it alone what would have happened?

certainly doesn't look healthy. but still, very cool shark.
