Dried pH probes

Pretty sure it was here I had seen a post that if a pH probe dries out is toast.

Was reading through a manual for the Milwaukee SM102 and under the Operation notes is: "If the electrode has been left to dry soak the tip (bottom 2.5cm) in rinse solution (M10000B) for a few minutes to reactivate it."

The manual doesn't get into if the probe has been sitting dry for a year or an hour and if it applies to other manufacturers, just though I'd pass along though.

btw, MB100000B looks to be deionized water.

dry probe

Yes, I bought a Neptune controller and its probe was dry. I doubt there is a resurrection in its future.
