Drilling a Euro-Reef

Who has drilled their Euro-Reef for a recirc mod?

I have a CS-6-2+, it is the good type of acrylic I think it is called cell cast rather than extruded.

I want to know the risks involved, I don't want to crack the thing, drilling a curved surface sounds difficult. Any tips on this? Also where can I get uniseals?

Start off with a pilot hole, then use a regular wood hole saw. Go slowly as going to fast causes the acrylic to melt.

As for uniseals, you can get them at Aquatic Eco Systems in Florida or AussieGlobe (I think), which is also in the US.

My Euroreef came with a Sedra 5000 needlewheel however I am ordering an Ocean Runner 2700 from Premium Aquatics because it is supposed to be quieter and have more output.
