sweet tank, dude! awesome that nanos can win totm on canreef.
erm...why is my tank still on the main page though? |
Thanks for the compliments :) I'm very happy with this little tank.
Here is a pic of the latest edition, a sailfin tang I picked up from another reefer. http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...h/IMG_3171.jpg |
What sort of equiptment are you running on the tank? Sump?
I have a 33g and I am thinking about what I want to do with it.. Thanks Kris |
No fancy equipment at all. No sump, fuge, or skimmer. I have 2 HOB filters and 2 powerheads. One filter has carbon and one has LR rubble. For some reason this tank has worked out very well. My plan in the beginning was just a fish only tank then it slowly grew into reef set up. You should try the same thing with your 33g. Maybe take it slow like I did, add frags over time until you have all you want. If you want any more info just let me know.

Nice looking tank, but 2 tangs in a 30 gallon? I think that is cruel to those fish, don't mean to be the tang police, but I think it's sad enviroment for these fish and hope you upgrade to that bigger tank soon, for them

Whoo! Good news to hear Mike, from earlier posts I didn't think we'd see that 190 for awhile. Can't wait to see the 190 as a TOTM
