do I need DSB for a refugium??
 

I'm setting up a small refugium and have some miracle mud for it. Just wondering if I should put some araganite in there as well?

if you are using MM you don't need arganite.. but would it hurt to add it also? I am notsure but my choice would be to use both mixed togeather if I already had the MM.. if not I would just use arganite..

what is the pourpose of the refuge? is itto produce Pods or is it to grow weeds? if weeds the MM might be the way togo.. if Pods then you want some larger particles there to encourage the growth of larger pods.
