I purchased this unit
2 of 4 bulbs work,1 had rotton base all are salt encrusted(they all need replacing).
Houseing is melted and warped. Pic is displayed so you don't see that it is melted.
Didn't expect new but expected something useable.
Yes I bought it sight unseen and had it sent to me by bus thinking the seller was honest in what he was selling(shipping had nothing to do with problems).
This is something that shouild have been put to the garbage.
I've bought lots off of this site and never got a bad deal except for this.
My bad for not asking for more pics but description should have said needs major work.

Toss that thing and take the $100 loss before it burns down your house.

Those hoods are very dangerous and should not be used over an open tank period. Thank God I was home when the one end cap started to burn... yes burn.

Sorry to hear that you got stung too, castaway.

I just bought a 90 gallon from another members friend. "Definitely holds water, just wants to get it out of his basement". A cheese grater would have a better chance of holding water. Piece of $&%*!

Too bad...most people on this site seem reputable.
