flatworm question

ive got a small ammonia spike (0.6 - 1ppm) and i need to treat the tank with flatworm exit....should i wait til the ammonia is at 0?

the worms are multiplying every day..i want to kill em b4 its too out of hand.

what are the flatworms on? if they're just on a coral or two, you may want to consider a freshwater dip as opposed to chemical treatment. in my experience, the flatworms completely dissolve in about 15 seconds! regardless, i think you'd have to kill off a pretty severe infestation in order to contribute to your ammonia spike...not a lot of body mass there. although you may not want to chance that.
