Rose Anemone in Victoria
 

I was at Hillside tropical today, and they have 80+ Rose Anemones. I got the best one, but there is still many great ones to choose from. If your interested, grab one quick, it may be a long time till you see these for sale again.

Cora and the island is so overpriced...uuugh.

What are they selling for over there?

Seems that many stores got large shipments of Rose BTAs this week. Are they all from the same supplier?

I was on the Island in December and Visited one of the popular stores in Victoria. The prices were way up there compared to Edmonton or Calgary. I remember the days when corals were a decent price on the island.

Waaaaaay up there doesn't even do it justice.. 2 1/2 times the price of Van. on just about everything

I just wait now untill I am back in Abbotsford visiting my parents to buy stuff. Unless there is something that really makes me JUMP...nothing here has yet...

Most torch corals are $80+++
SPS are $75+++

Its stupid here.....50g bag of salt is like $40

Really they arent paying that much more than us customers for shipping stock over...its quite gauging!

The last time I was there he had the 160g buckets of IO for like $39.99. You can't beat that :biggrin:

not only is the cost WWWAAYY out of wack here but NO selection! I have been back on the island for almost 2 years and have not seen one coral/invert i would consider buying. I go do all my shopping in Van with John and SAVE huge after the $20 is boat fee and $20 in gas. I like to suport local stores but when i dont even get a McDonalds or kiss first i get put off.
