Would my new anemone eat my clown fish?

We had two clown fish, who were both very healthy and happy until recently we added an anemone for them... now one clown fish is missing. Is it possible the anemone ate it? I am confused... any ideas?

What kind of anemone, what kind of clownfish?

I believe it is a bubble tip anemone and it is a Ocellaris clownfish.

Pretty much no chance unless the fish was already dead. BTA's are mostly opportunistic scavengers and mostly planktivores by nature, and not very sticky.

A haddoni carpet could easily eat a fish though, that's why I asked what species were involved.
