Season started again in november.I couldn't pass this one up,almost bought another around the same size that was a deep blue in color.The shell on the claws was really thick,took 5 good wacks with a large hammer to open them.
God,after looking at the picture,I think I need to renovate the kitchen and bring it up to date,lol.The weather here has been out of this world,coldest we seen here along the South shore has been around -10'c.Still get to go for daily walks on the beach.

shouldn't you be throwing hat one back? go get your self eight one pounders theys taste much better:wink:

SO ugly and yet so tasty

I agree the smaller ones taste better,but this one was still soooo tasty.In hindsight,I would never eat one this big again,just for the fact I had to buy an oversized roast pan and it took almost 60 minutes to cook in salt water.

Is it wierd to kinda feel bad for the little guy...

How many people ate that monster? Just you???

Once you eat dog, it's hard to feel bad for eating much else :mrgreen:
