Very nice coral :) You're photos are always excellent!
Sorry, I don't have an ID for it. |
You haven't seen pre-editing have you? :)
Found two more: (This was in the background of a blur known as a lawnmower blenny) http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...r/IMG_1242.jpg (This one just bugs me cuz of the bubble algae, kinda like the dark space tho) http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...r/IMG_1249.jpg |
Gads! I edit my pics so much I end up with none  That's why I make videos. Tons of editing there though too.
We just tore down our 120g to get rid of bubble algae. We had none for quite awhile, then it came back. I think it must have come in on some frags :( Best way to remove bubble algae is to cut off the pieces of rock it's on. We use wire cutters for BA that's on the edge of rock - like yours is, or a hammer and screw driver for pieces in the middle of rocks. Sometimes the rocks break, but it's the only way of making sure the bubbles don't break and spew out whatever spores they have inside. |
Sweet shot!
It looks like pocci. Chris |
One of these days I'll have to get a good shot of this guy... Maybe next week I'll frag it to get rid of this nasy algae encased 'plug' it's mounted on.

First pic is a Pocillopora species. Going to guess Pocillopora damicornis.
Very nice macro btw Andy! |
