1 1\2 " knife valve for asm G2 gate valve mod?

I have been looking for a 1 1\4" gate valve for a g2 gate valve mod and have had no luck. I have tried every plumbling supplier, hot tub and home hardware place in Edmonton. I have also tried OA but they have none. I am a little hesitant to go through asm.com because I don't know what's up with the new octopus line transition.
So......... I found a 1 1\2" knife valve at AI in Edmonton. Question is= Do you guys think this would work with reducers on the G2? Would this affect the flow of the skimmer and therefore not work properly?

You need a 1 1/4" inch, I doubt it would work properly without it.

Try Terasen Waterworks (aka Corix):

http://www.terasen.com/Waterworks/Ou...es/default.htm

They've got all sorts of crazy industrial plumbing supplies and have locations throughout Alberta as well.

They don't have any, I tried a few weeks ago. They did tell me I could order one.

I know for a fact that the Coquitlam Teresen location has 1-1/4" gate valves in stock.

Go for it. Doesnt cost extra, just gotta wait a few days to a week. They're so cheap.
